It seems my tax software has a bug on their Sch D resulting in an error on AZ form 140 line 16a prohibiting me from e-filing AZ. ProSeries says the bug should be fixed later this week. My client has a NOL carry over from a previous tax year. The NOL flows to line 16a but that's it. I went to the AZ Dept of Rev website and entered the numbers into their fillable online form even entering the AZ tax from the Optional Tax Table then calculated. The NOL amt I entered on 16a appears no where else on the form 140 and is was not subtracted from the AZ taxable income. Something tells me NOL on line 16a should have flowed to line 16 but that didn't happen after I calculated. Any help would be appreciated.
