    1099 Foreign Workers

    I have a client who does clinics around the world. If he hires labor there and pays them over $600 should he be issuing a 1099 to them (foreign person providing labor in foreign country)?

      I wouldn't think so. Perhaps the countries of which you speak have other forms to report income to them. They certainly would not file in the US, so who would you report it to? Were they paid in American $$?
