I was just taken by surprise that Logmein free will cease to exist in one week. It's actually one week after the first log in after 1/21/14. I am not using this service every day and cannot recall being notified. Anyway, thought I might not be the only one.

Yep, I saw that myself. I no longer really like the service. They have switched to a logmein client and they have had tons of complaints. You can no longer run it in your browser but must download their client. I can not use it on any of my computers. It crashes constantly. I can still use it in browser mode in IE 11 but that will be stopped soon. I've looked into GoToMyPc as an alternative but it is still as slow as it was years ago. Internet connection constantly drops which never happened with LogMeIn.
Can't say I did not see it coming. They have alot of users and more than likely just can not handle the free folks anymore. -
I've been using GoToMyPc for many years and have never had a slow problem.This post is for discussion purposes only and should be verified with other sources before actual use.
