I did a federal 990 for non profit organization (501C (3)) based in Illinois. Do I have to file zero report for the state of illinois and on what form. Thanks

I believe you need to review instructions on the Illinois web site for the state form IL-990-T.
And click the “form” or “instr”uctions link. If your federal form did not have a tax on form 990-T you probably do not need to file the state form. However, I am no expert on the state of Illinois.Last edited by OldJack; 05-03-2006, 12:23 PM.
