    Timeshare cost

    Is the cost of a timeshare warrant/right an amortizable/depreciable asset if the time share is used as rental property. If so over period of time can it be written off.? OR is it treated as an investment and a gain or loss recognized upon disposition ??

      I think we need more information about the timeshare. Is it in the USA? Is it deeded property? Or is it time....such as 1 week per year? Or is it "right to use"?

          I've heard of stock warrants, but never timeshare warrants. Are they some sort of option to buy? Or just another name for the typical timeshare ownership?
