If a wholesaler sells products to restaurants, etc. that resell and collect tax. I'm ASSUMING she doesn't tax?? Does NC provide an expemption form for the restauants etc. that the wholesaler needs to keep a copy of? Also, thinking in NC churches must file for refund of sales tax, so wholesalers should charge, correct?

Usually states have Resale Certificates for businesses the sell their products to other businesses that will sell to the final user and retailer then collects the sales tax. For Chuches and other tax exempt organization, there should be an Exempt Certificate given when they buy items for exempt purposes. Wholesalers and Retailers sell the products without sales tax. This post is for discussion purposes only and should be verified with other sources before actual use.
