    Drake Users what Printers Used?

We have been using a HP4200tn printer for many years, but are now looking to get a new printer and wondering if anyone has recomendations or models to avoid. We do over 1,000+ returns a year and a network setup. We all share one printer, although we do still have a HP4 Laserjet hooked up but not used much do to lack of speed.

    Thanks for any help.

I have been using the HP Laserjet 4250 for many years and it has been doing great, so I am going to stick with it. I am going through one more tax season with Windows XP, all is running very well on Drake. Do call Drake and ask thier opinion.

For some reason this past tax season Drake had problems with Brother printers. When printing, half the page would be cut off. I had to call support several times. It was finally resolved but very frustrating.

        HP Laser Jet P2035n

Have used this one for several years. Very reliable and prints 35 PPM.

Drake user for 3 years. Printer is HP Laser Jet P4015n and the two work well together. Pages fly out of the printer (in a good way!).

I use a HP Laser Jet P3015 which has the capability of duplexing.

            Love it.

It sounds to me that the safe choice in laser printers is HP, according to these posts. Also I have learned over the year that whenever you are offered a free printer with a computer purchase, don't use it.

                uh oh.

I have a Brother printer and an attorney has hired me to use his Drake tax software to do taxes for his legal clients on my computer.
                This could be worrisome.

                  Not a problem

I have used Brother MFC 7340 last year with Drake without any problems.

cool. Mine is the DCP 7020. I've never had a problem except with scanning software.

Unless it is a really old printer, I can't imagine how 1 printer would be significantly different than another.

I've got a Brother MFC 8890-DW and had it since 2007. I can not believe it has been that long. So mine being older might have been the problem last tax season with Drake.

Paper is starting to accordion on me coming out of the printer. So more than likely I will have to get a new or get a fuser for this one.

I agree with John. HP lasers are the premier source for printers.
