    Virginia Look back

    Does anyone know if Virginia has a look back rule for gifts? Ie going to Nursing home, getting VA benefits, qualifying for other stuff beacuse you gave it all away.Thanks to all

      Virginia abolished its Estate tax so there is no look-back for that. Are you talking about qualifying for Medicaid? The lookback is 60 months (5 yrs) for Medicaid eligibility concerning non-exempt transfers. It gets complicated.
