    IRS CP24 letter IRS Calculations & TP Calculations EXACT

    What gives. Why did the IRS even mail out this letter. The IRS Calculations & Taxpayers Calculations on letter are EXACT to the dollar.

      Have you read the letter carefully?

      CP24 generally refers to a discrepancy in payment (or estimated payment) information. It often involves a refund.

          A client got one of these because he overpaid by 10 cents on a 941.

          Now how much did that letter cost?
