    TTB Binder

Read a thread awhile back about the binder. If TTB wants to send me the book without the binder (just loose leaf) that is fine as I take the binder off do a three hold punch and put in a notebook.Much easier to take the wooksheet out when needed an is easier to hold when reading.May also save in the publishing if binder is not used.Anyone else on the board agree.Just a suggestion.

    ah.............

........ but it looks so pretty as it is...........

Back in the late '70s early '80s there was a looseleaf book called "Tax Control". I loved it because it had every type of tax transaction in it and gave some history of that issue then described current law and finished with what needed to be done plus code and forms needed. The fact that it was looseleafed helped when I was working on the project, just copied the page(s).

This year I copied from TTB and I never had a problem with pages falling out.

Of course, if TTB can get their book on Disc or resident in our computers this issue would go away. HOW ABOUT IT BRAD........?????????????

We have several pots in the fire. I don’t want to jump the gun and ruin the surprise, but look for new things coming from TTB this year.

          CD vs Book

CD would be o.k. but I do a lot of late nite reading when I go to bed and the book works really good.

            Book

I would never expect TTB without the book. I would buy both.

              Like book too

I like being able to open the book especially when a client is sitting at my desk and they ask a question and I will say "Let's look it up in my tax guide and make sure we get the exact wording on that point." When I can turn to the page and show them what it says, they are very impressed. One man said to his wife (or vice versa) Look at that book she has. She can find anything in there.

Most people like to be shown why you are telling them why they can take a deduction or not or why something is taxable or not. So being able to show them where we get our information from is great. They know that we are keeping up to date and want to give them accurate information.
