    Refund delay after ID verify?

    Has anyone had a client that's gone through ID verify and gotten their refund? My client received the letter asking her to verify her ID. She did on May 18, and the return is still showing 'being processed'. Does anyone know how long it might take?

      16 weeks

      My son had to wait 16 weeks. It appears there is no way to counter the long time to wait. Although they received interest on the refund, it still caused an undue hardship on them.
