    Power of Attorney Forms IRS

    I have a question - regarding SS-8 form submitted on a client.

I have a power of attorney on the Client for Income Tax (form 1040), do I need to file in another power of attorney to include the SS-8 form?

Taxpayer/client received a reject on the SS-8 package we submitted for 2012 in Feburary 2013. All of the documentation is included - it is obvious that IRS Rep/Clerical can not READ nor did they review the supporting documents we submitted!

It is going to take another cover response letter, and/or a phone call, and I am going to have to make that call on the T/P behalf.

    Thanks,

    Sandy

Only if it is not stated on the original POA.
Believe nothing you have not personally researched and verified.
