Platimun Pro Studies
I haven't used the Tax University, but used Platinum Pro Studies that someone on this forum suggested. They have courses for 24+ credits that fit the bill for the whole year so you don't have to worry about taking any other credits for the year unless you want to. I plan on attending a live session somewhere also. The course cost only $37.95. It was excellent. I would suggest it for anyone. Usually I shy away from cheep items (You know the saying "You get what you paid for"), but in this case it was very good. I would have paid more for this course. For less than $2/credit it was well worth it. It is the same as other online courses giving the reading materials, quizzes, and take it as many times until you pass. It is separated by subject matter so you can complete and pass each area before going ahead to another subject if you want to. -
Global CPE
I purchased the unlimited $299 Webinar package from Global CPE thru 5/31/2014. For a while there I thought I may have to request a refund but they got it together. I have about 14 CPE's so far this year and I plan to max out to 40 CPE's. In 2014 I plan on taking 16 CPE's thru Global again. In 2015 I am considering traveling out of state to a seminar to obtain my remaining 16 CPE's. I cannot believe the pricing for some CPE's. I have seen some as high as $100/CPE.Comment
