    Doma Done, Now What?

    I filed two, 2009 Amended Returns for gay married couples before 4/15/13. Will IRS now process them since the Supreme Court has ruled, or do I need to call IRS? If I need to call, whom do I call?

      Were they marked as protective claims?

      I'm going to give the IRS a few weeks to see if they issue guidance, but my expectation is that they'll need to be refiled since protective claims, in general, aren't required to specify a specific amount.
