    1041 extension payment

    How do you pay tax owed on 1041 trust that you are filing extension for.

      Enclose a check payable to "United States Treasury" with the trust ID number written on it and include with the Form 7004.

      The requirement to electronically deposit taxes or use a federal coupon and deposit at a bank only applies to corporations, not trusts.
