    Market Linked CDs

    This is kinda out of the subject of taxes, but figured I would get my mind off taxes right now. Has anyone heard of/had a maket linked CD? I am just checking on them and wonder if them are a good deal or not. Thanks for any feedback.

    Not a good deal. They were really hot when the stock market was shooting up and people were worried about a short term drop but when the market dropped they showed how weak they were. If you have a decent portfolio and proper cash cushion set up for emergencies, you'll be better off.
