    Police training academy

    Fella works in an upscale fish market. Has always desired to be a police officer. He was told that before he can be selected, he has to attend the academy and pay $3,000 for the training. How can he (we) deduct this ? Thanks,

      He can't. It qualifies him for a new profession.

          He should find a department that has their own academy or will pay his way and pay him while he attends. If they hire him and send them to the academy his expenses are 2106 otherwise he is out of luck
          Believe nothing you have not personally researched and verified.
