    Sos : Nj Llc Help

    Perhaps some of you out there have not headed for the Jersey beaches yet. I'am doing a NJ LLC taxed as a partnerhsip 1065. I'm not familiar with NJ too much, but the client is telling me there is a tax that NJ imposes on an LLC, aside from the individual level taxes on the pass through income. Does anyone know what they may be talking about? Thanks

      most likely an annual fee

      NY has one, along with my home state of NC.

      check the NJ Dept of Revenue's website for NJ LLC annual fee, or something similar.

          Go to the NATP website. On the left side going up & down are different subjects.
          There is one called: find a tax pro. Click on it, then locate a preparer in NJ and either
          call or fax them the question. Have had a lot of success with this when needing
          state tax info.
