More than likely Drake is conflicting with some kind of printer driver I have installed. So you will probably be good. I have several printer drivers installed for me to print/edit pds and print payroll checks with micr ink. So I am thinking it has something to do with that.

Locating the problem

If you have not already done so, be sure you have the latest Win 7 (updates?) stuff installed, and the latest Adobe stuff installed, and also the latest print driver installed. Sometimes you can have printer conflicts, and an easy solution is to "delete" the printer, and then reinstall the drivers from a trusted web site. (Just be sure you know what you are doing!)
And remember, when you download any updates or whatever, it is a VERY good idea to shut down the computer (more than "restart"), and start from a cold boot. Otherwise you can have all kinds of potential conflicts, including registry errors.
As for the "is it a Drake problem?" (seems somewhat likely from reading these boards) why not try something like this ( http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1040sa.pdf ) , fill in some numbers on the form, and print. If that works, call Drake. If that does NOT work, the problem is within your computer.

Brian, I hope you find a solution to your problem.
To all others: I am very happy with my windows 7 pro computer, never had to fall back on the XP option. It's going on three years that I switched and it was a pain but totally worth it. Before I always had some sorts of problem but not any longer, so Windows 7 is not the problem. I kept my XP computer for older tax years and also to just have a backup computer.

I'm wondering now, for those with problems with Drake and Win 7, and/or Adobe...........
Is the Windows 7 the home premium edition OR is it the professional version? There is a difference you know.
Now IF I decide to buy a new computer with Windows 7, it would have to be the professional edition since I still use good 'ole MSDOS programs here for my accounting software.ChEAr$,
