special depreciation - rental property

Does depreciable items for rental property qualify for special depreciation? It doesn't qualify for Section 179, I know. But I can't find anything about the special depreciation.

Yes, rental property qualifies since it is not listed as exempted property - see Pub. 946 above. Of course, it will need to meet the class life requirement and all other requirements.
