Form 8379 Injured Spouse Form

    Form 8379 Injured Spouse Form

    I have filled out the form and ready to mail in but was wondering if it requires a copy of the 1040 which was previously EF-d?
    Anybody know? I'm new at this.

    I don't believe it is necessary. However it might be best to read the instructions for the form to be absolutely sure.

      No, but be sure to attach all Forms W-2, W-2G, and any Forms 1099 that have federal withholdings.

        W-2 figures are Included

        The figures from the w-2's are included in the 8379 form but are you saying that I must include a copy of the actual w-2's?

          I believe the instructions do say to include copies of the W'2s. Check and see
