    Self Emp Simple AND Roth?

Can a self-employed person (no employees) contribute the maximum to a SIMPLE Plan based on self-employment earnings AND the maximum to a ROTH IRA separately for the same tax year (2012)?

    Yes

As long as they are under the AGI limit for a Roth.
