    Farm and form 4835

    Why am I getting a form 4835 that my program is making manditory? I did a farm income with the only income from agriculture payments and now this 4835 won't go AWAY.
    I've been in the biz for 11 years and have never had do many problems with K1's I can't read and strange new forms I've never seen.
    I searched this board and I went to the IRS website, but I still do not see that it MUST be filed.
    Help?

    Possi, if this income is from farm income with material participation it goes on Sch.F, if just active participation is goes on form 4835. Usually used for crop shares.

      I don't get it.

      It is his land, and he materially and actively participated.
      So, the Sch F is the only one I need to do, correct?

      Maybe I have input something in the program that is triggering this 4835. I'll keep looking.
