Federal return is MFJ. Couple married in Sept. Wife worked in Indiana all year, husband in Kentucky with only retirement income. Can the wife file MFS with Indiana?? I know Kentucky will let you choose MFJ or MFS regardless of Federal filing status. I know some states won't and make you do MFJ if Federal is. I'm not sure about Indiana. Anyone know?
