Would greatly appreciate assistance to confirm that Form 8839 must be mailed in and not e-filed. Form has been on the delayed forms list and instructions for Form indicate paper filing required. Yet the previous documentation requirements have been dropped which would seem to lend itself to e-filing. Any help is greatly appreciated

If you are filing Form 8839, you cannot file your income tax return and Form 8839 electronically.
You must file a paper return.
