Clients just left, wanted to file separately (they thought), went ahead signed authorizations, I efiled. They called, changed their mind. Can I amend to MFJ before the 4-15 deadline?

MFS to MFJ
Yes. You can even amend from MFS to MFJ after April 15.
The only thing you can't do after 04/15 is go from MFJ to MFS.
In other words, you cannot undo the joint and several liability after the due date.
