As of February 28, returns prepared are down 15%. Don't know if I can blame it on Turbo Tax or the late start on clients coming in. Experiencing same?

Down by just a few, but have some long time early regulars that I haven't seen yet. Everyone (well almost everyone) that hasn't been in by the end of next week will get a reminder post card.Comment

I have COMPLETED fewer returns to date than last year. But, my clients have complex returns and waited on their documents; and I waited on things like depreciation in my software and being able to e-file all their forms. However, the stack of returns TO BE PREPARED is greater than ever with a couple of new people and several new situations for continuing clients. I'm very nervous about completing those I have in hand by 15 April. And, I will start putting people on extension Monday unless they've already contacted me.Comment

Definitely slower to come in, am holding for 3/15 K-1's, 1099's from brokerages, etc. Most 1099's were not mailed until 2/15 (received 2/24). Plus put off rentals for 4562 and 8582 issues. It's going to be a long season.......Comment
