    I'm Stumped

I've researched this carefully but just can't find it. One of my EITC clients is in today and announces that he is no longer getting food stamps, free school lunches or any of the other government assistance he had been getting. He wants to know what the tax credit is for having to pay his own bills. Anyone know?
In other words, a democratic government is the only one in which those who vote for a tax can escape the obligation to pay it.

I'm researching it and will get back to you later--much later.

      Stumped

I don't know what is happening but that would be a good idea.

It's shown on a relatively new document - IRS Form CTWH -

i would suspect that client no longer qualifies because his income went up or his city ran out of funds or he did something illegal .

Having to pay your own bills is un-American.

I have to pay my own bills. Find out for me and let me know. I never got food stamps or any government assistance. If I should be getting a credit for that I'd like to know about it.

I think bills are deducted the same place you deduct home repairs for your main home.
