    Moved from England

    I have a client, a US citizen that just moved back to the US in November. She has one W-2 with $961 of income. I don't know if she had any income in England (have to ask her), but if she did, do I need to file a US Return?

      U.S. citizens

      must file taxes on world wide income. Foreign income exclusion and/or tax credit may apply.

          Foreign Income Exclusion

          I assume foreign Income Exlcusion is not applicable since she didn't live in England for the entire year.
