My software says that Form 8396, Mortgage Interest Credit is not yet available. If I go on the IRS web site, a fillable Form 8396 is there. I assume this means that my software is just late in uploading the form, but the IRS has issued it. I don't think that the Tax Legislation affected this form.

It is one of the forms that is not available for filing yet. They may have the form on the website, but they cannot accept it.
