    Taxslayerpro Users!

I just switched to Taxslayerpro about 10 days ago. Would anybody using this program care to share tips or tricks?
I tried to check all my clients with depreciation, because that did not carryover well after the conversion.
I'm so used to forms-based entry, and this is sooooo different. Thus far, Tech Support has been helpful and everyone I've dealt with has been friendly. I just hoping I don't overlook something during the height of tax season.
Have a great tax season everyone!

When people discuss the merits of software, data entry MUST work the way your mind works. How strictly the software is forms based (there are levels) is often ignored when people claim software is wonderful. Everyone's mind works differently, doesn't mean software is good or bad.

I never tried Taxslayer - sorry. Had to rant off topic for a second.

Don't really know what tips to share. I've used Tax Slayer for 6 years and love it. I've never used forms based software and actually don't think I would like that. I guess it's just whatever one gets used to. Prior to using Tax Slayer I worked for Jackson Hewitt for 13 years and actually loved their software. Was concerned about the switch when I started my own business but I was amazed at how easy Tax Slayer was to learn and from day one I liked it much better than the Jackson Hewitt software. Those are the only 2 I have experience with. I've always been so happy that I've had no reason to look elsewhere. And you are right support are the best. If you have specific questions you can email me bonniestaxservice@yahoo.com. The depreciation issue may have to do with the fact those forms are not final yet.

          happy user

I have been using TaxslayerPro since I started my own business. This is my 11th season with them. If you have specific questions, feel free to email me and I will be glad to help too.

That is what we are all here for...to help each other and to get help.

The program will lead you through the return very easily, I think. Use the menu on the left side of the screen to pick categories you need to go into.

Thanks, Linda. I've found this board to be full of friendly folks, and I've learned alot from reading responses!
