    Rollover A Client?

On another website (ATS) it mentions this term, "rollover." Excuse my ignorance, but what is meant by this?

If you mean ATX instead of ATS, this is the term ATX uses for bringing last years client information into the new tax year.

If was kinda thinking rollover a client meant turning him in to IRS. (grin

I thought Rollover was a kind of IRA.

Seriously, it was probably used in the context of "rolling over" information like the client's name, address, SSN, and forms used the prior year including the EI Numbers on W-2s, 1099s,etc.

I like the way you think. With my background I would have thought the same thing.
