    Interesting thread

    As a team building exercise I would say sure.

    For protection of the business premise and employees I would say maybe, depends if there is a credible threat. Then again, who would think there a credible threat in a grade school?

    When I traveled extensively with my work I routinely carried a weapon and engaged in fire arms training. It never occurred to me to use it for a tax write off.

      If deductible why stop at firearm training. How about self defense classes, karate, judo, weight training. I think you could go on and on. Just a thought. I would lean toward not a ordinary and necessary business expense in this case.
