Check-writing software

Can anyone pass along a link for easy-to-use and reasonably priced (cheap ) software that you have used or are familiar with that a client can use to write and print checks? Hopefully, they might be able to purchase checks there also. If not, I can get them QB to do the job, but I thought there might be something a lot cheaper.

Quicken is good for checks out, checks in.

I also have a very frugal client who created his own template to use to print out checks from his three-on-a-page checkbook.
