    Refund Cycle Chart

Anybody see one released yet? I do alot of refund returns and have people already asking about time frame on refunds.
Used to get them from the IRS every year but they quit mailing those packets out several years ago.
    Thanks

You'll get your refund when you get it. But, I need a check today.

And I'll pay 500% to get it today also! Because I really, really need it today!

              also

Also I'm telling my "complaining" clients ("need to get refund NOW") to call their Congressperson!
IRS is saying refunds SHOULD be made within 21 days! (what happened to 7 - 10 days!) OUCH

All will be well as long as refunds on timely filed (4/15) returns are sent out by June 15th and then US Treasury won't have to spend any mo money on interest, thus adding to national debt.

Also, piece in yesterday's newspaper said that if the debt ceiling isn't raised by .. when, feb 28th? IRS might just have to delay refunds because no cash will be available. As if we didn't already have enough to worry about.

They don't need to offer fast turnaround anymore.
That was the come-on to get people to file electronically.
Everyone, including the tax preparation community, was suckered into the scheme.
Now that e-flinging is required of tax pros, IRS can take away the carrot and only use the stick.
                  Anybody feel they've been scammed?
