Scanner software

Hello all

Not a tax question. I have a xerox documate 162 scanner and am wondering what scanning software you may be using. I find all kinds. I basically need something that the software will read and save as a PDF format. Need some work capacity on documate. Mostly to get rid of a lot of paper files that I have. Thanks to all.

I use Paperport12 but I use it because I got it for free.
It's not necessarily extra good but it works.

Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro

Works with either my Fi-6130 or Canon Print, Scan, Copy. Allows me to take a hardcopy form, scan it and then convert into a fillable form. .

Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500

I just ordered a Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500. I was visiting a friend who has a roofing business. She showed me a scanner she had gotten and told me how much she liked it. Price was reasonable and so I bought one last week.

I will report later after I have used it.
