Off Topic: Recording Webinar on PC

Does anyone know of any software that allows me to record a live webinar I watch on my PC? If so please reply with the link(s).

Most of the webinars I have watched are archived for later viewing or reading of transcripts. The IRS webinars seem to take 24 hours to update their archives. Webinars I've paid for have been available for up to a year after viewing at no additional charge or even forever. Check with the provider re the availability of transcripts or archived videos.

If you use Firefox there is an addin called "Downloadhelper" that will enable you to save most streaming video. It's free to try but if you upgrade you get some added features.

You could always take good notes...or pay to watch the webcast later (if the content is good) and support the company. The phrase "you gotta spend some money to make money" kind of comes to mind here.

            Livescribe

Look @ the Livescribe Pen At Livescribe.com. It is a pen that has a recording device and a small camera. I use it for recording seminars, webinars, client meetings etc. After recording the event the pin is synced to the software on the computer so you can listen on the computer - or the pen. Cost $100 - 200 (depending on memory) @ Amazon, Best Buy etc.
