    Fiscal Cliff?

    Was wondering if all this talk about the fiscal cliff effects the 2012 tax return? Or is it all about 2013 and beyond?

      Zeros, the obvious answer is that this affects 2012 and future years also.

      Consult TTB home page and open the link "Obamacare, Extenders and New Tax Law". Some of the tax considerations are expiring December 31, 2012 and some of them have ALREADY expired 12/31/11 but could be revived for the 2012 filing season.
