    Form 1099 MISC to verndors

    I think I am behind on this. What's up with the proposed requirement about 1099-MISC to be issued to every vendor? Will it become effective in 2013? If yes, national chains such as Home Depot is gonna receive 20 million Form 1099s in the month of January.

    I think I have heard that the requirement has been repealed. I am not absolutely sure though. Can someone confirm it?
