    Fee to Efile Extension

    Lacerte is charging $ 5.00 per extension form 4868 that I file electronically. What does your software charge for this? I'am afraid once Efiling is mandatory, it will be closer to $50.00, just wait and see. Hold on to your wallets!!

          TaxslayerPro is free

          I have filed a couple of extensions already and TaxslayerPro did not charge. But they don't charge us for efiling on any returns.
