IRS letter 5024

Today I received IRS letter 5024 from the Department on the Treasury , Return Preparer office stating I need to register for the RTRP test. I am a CPA and exempt from that requirement, but the letter states that their records indicate I should take it. NO phone number listed on the form.

Anyone else get this letter that is not required to take it?

I would check on the PTIN sight to make sure they have you as a CPA.if not just add CPA to your profile.

Got same letter dated Sept. 28, 2012--Been EA since 1983
