    Margin Interest

    Can I deduct margin interest on Form 1041? Where? Misc 2%? And, if you use Profx, where do I enter it? This is the first time this client has had margin interest in her trust.

      Start with Form 4952

      From there, it usually flows to Line 10 of the 1041. But see instructions for Form 4952.
