I'm having a heck of a time getting into the CA SOS so I can ask some questions (phone menu that doesn't address my needs or email error messages). I don't deal with out-of-state entities, so any help with be most welcome.
My client is the sole member of an out-of-state LLC and he is a full-time resident of CA and will be conducting most or all of it's operations from CA. Discussing this with a colleague, I am going to fill out LLC-5 to file with the SOS, along with the certificate of good standing from the other state. Also, the LLC will pay the annual $800 fee.
Anything else I need to advise the client to do?
