Client paying previously unpaid payroll taxes to the IRS via settlement agreement. Would the non deductible penalty portion of his annual payment be recorded as an M-1 adjustment? Appreciate anyone's help with this!
That's exactly where it goes.
I usually label it either Nondeductible Expenses, or if there is a line labeled
Penalties by the software program, that's where I put it.
