I heard recently that Congress was favoring legislation to make internet sales subject to sales tax, nexus notwithstanding.
Does anyone have any recent scoop on that? If that passes, an entire leg has been knocked out from under the Amazon business model, and smaller companies doing internet sales will go nuts with the administrative burden.
Don't think anything of substance will pass before election, but this is something of which we need our eyes and ears open.
