Corp efile rejected

I sent in a 2009 corp efile, and got a rejection stating the name & EIN has to match what is in the efile registry.

I just applied for the EIN on Thursday online (back filer, DIY corp). How long does it take to get the EIN into the database?

For what it's worth, I recently e-filed a trust and an estate that received their EIN's in early May.

Tried again, rejected again. Bleh. I'm leaving town for two weeks tomorrow and really need to get this old one filed.

Someone said you couldn't efile if the EIN was received in 2012. was yours a current year return, or back year return?

Had this happen on an efile last year on a Trust - Return, I called Efile, they advised there was no way I could efile when I had just applied for the EIN# - takes 6 - 8 weeks to process EIN # in the system before it can or will be accepted in the "System"

I gave up and just Paper Filed,
