Identity Theft

I picked up my acknowledgements late last night and behold! I had a reject.....Taxpayer TIN has already been filed............I had gone the whole tax season without anyone having their identity stolen.
These are retired people and I HATE to tell them this has happened to them. Oh, well, I'll have to call them today and give them the bad news.

I had one dealing with it yesterday, too. She called IRS and they said it was rampant this year. I had three all told.
