    Legal Fees for guardianship

Client paid legal fees to have guardianship papers prepared for him handling wife's affairs. She is in stage of Alzheimers (sp). Is this a deductible expense?

Also, paid person to work in home to help care for patient, but they also did housework, etc. To me, the lines are blurry, as well as my mind.

Help appreciated in getting me back on track.

Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".

    1. not deductible

    2. household worker, schedule H for payroll taxes with the return, plus check with state unemployment tax people to see if SUTA is necessary.

As for deductible payroll for medical, just need to allocate and pro rate.
