    Nonbusiness Casualty Losses in Federal Disaster Area

    In previous years, the 10% of AGI reduction for nonbusiness casualty losses that occur in a federally declared disaster area has been waived. Has this been put into place for losses that occurred due to Hurricane Irene in 2011?

      and the 10% of AGI reduction is NOT waived unfortunately.
