Relif of taxes

Just checking before this client comes in on Wed. It sounds as if she will have a great deal of SE tax, her friend told her she checked online and because of her financial sitution (bad) she won't have to pay. The only relief I see is from penalties, anyone know of anything I don't? (not in disaster area)

There's an extension of time to pay due to hardship for 2011 returns, if she meets the criteria:

It avoids only one penalty.

Thanks for your response, that's what I thought, maybe an extension to pay but not a relief from payment completely!
